November 2021
Two great bits of news from CAMRA!
We
are
in
the
lastest
edition
of
the
Good
Beer
Guide.
We
have
been
included
in
the GBG each year since opening in 2015.
The
CAMRA
Edinburgh
&
South-east
Branch
have
announced
this
year’s
winners
and
runners-up
of
their
Real
Ales
Quality
Awards
for
the
three
areas
-
Edinburgh
City,
Lothians
and
Scottish
Borders.
We
are
proud
to
be
runner-up
for
the
Borders,
with
the
Allanton
Inn
being
both
the
Borders
winner
and
the
Branch’s overall winner.
We
thank
all
the
CAMRA
members
who
voted
for
us.
The
recognition
means
so
much.
March 2021
Pre-CV19,
one
of
our
plans
for
last
year
was
to
hold
some
Afternoon
Tea
events.
Obviously
this
wasn’t
possible,
but
is
still
in
the
pipeline.
Strangely
within
a
few
days
at
the
beginning
of
this
month,
we’ve
had
three
separate
requests
for
takeaway
Afternoon
Teas.
After
posting
photos
of
our
offering,
we
have
had
a
steady
flow
of
orders,
fabulous
feedback,
referrals
and
repeat
business.
Reviews:

We had been recommended to try The Plough Inn and we were not
disappointed...
